Consulting projects in process analysis, Temporary management
Plastic pipes extrusion, fertilizers, medical devices assembly, household appliances companies: starting from 2020, I have been working as Temporary Manager in multinational groups and companies of several dimensions, in Supply Chain, Planning, Master data management, Logistics, Warehouse, Purchasing areas. I have focused mainly on analysis and general improvement of processes and flows: ● Rationalization and stabilization of the Master Production Planning and the execution phase ● Master data and records correction ● Report development, implementation of new ERP functionalities and new tools for analysis ● Staff training and people development
Metal terminals molding, metal cutting, bending and molding companies: in the context of long term collaborations, which have been going on for several years, I supervised projects that have included: ● Database/Master data correction and harmonization, ERP functionalities improvement ● Information flows and processes reorganization ● Master Planning MPS revision, batch optimization ● Reporting and KPI development, tools for analysis (warehouse, production, sales and shipments, purchasing) ● Labeling standardization, traceability implementation ● KLT container standardization project ● Technological development and 4.0 interconnection projects ● Support for Quality, ISO systems and customer audits ● Manuals/procedures drafting and staff training
ERP implementation, MES and WMS development, 4.0 interconnection projects
Food industry, plastic profile extrusion, industrial bakery companies: starting from 2021 I took part in the development for the implementation, by Logikamente (a SW development company based in Ferrara), of a WMS system for the management of all warehouse operations: I carried out the activities of analysis and improvement of processes and flows, related to good receipt, storage, picking, preparation and shipping phases, and I collaborated on the correct interfacing with the company ERP (SAP). Moreover, I contributed to the implementation of their MES system in the context of three 4.0 interconnection projects of new machinery: first I gathered requirements and analyzed the main processes, then I led a streamlining and improvement of those processes, together with a massive rationalization of Master data and product records; this made the interface between the MES and the existing management systems, tools and procedures more efficient
Component assembly company in the nautical sector: 2022 project – I supported the company in the software house selection phase, and in the subsequent implementation of a new ERP, especially in preliminary requirements collection, analysis and redesign of processes, and Master Data correction and harmonization activities
Metal terminals molding company: I supported the company in the purchase of new machinery, and in the subsequent project for 4.0 interconnection, through the implementation of a MES system for production, and a WMS system for warehouse movements (managed with locations) with RF terminals
ISO systems imlementation projects
In collaboration with Genba, a consulting firm in Ferrara, starting from 2020 I have supported Wine-making machinery, Sheet metal cutting and bending, and medical devices distribution companies, in implementing Quality management system, and achieving ISO9001 and ISO13485 certifications (medical sector)
Lean projects
Companies in the footwear, metalworking, window manufacturing, foundry sectors: in collaboration with Wtco, a Lean consultancy company, I developed and applied on the field tools and techniques aimed at continuous improvement, especially in terms of: ● 5S methodology and events ● Waste reduction and OEE improvement (work sampling technique) ● Planning (Visual/Heijunka Boards, VSM) ● Logistics (Material flow improvement, Kaizen Week on the LOG pillar of WCM method) ● Workshops on quality and problem solving (PDCA, Fishbone, A3T techniques) ● Standards, procedures, Skill Matrix implementation ● Staff training and development

● Coordination of an inter-functional project regarding “Processes analysis and optimization” ● Operational reorganization (roles and responsibilities) of the warehouse staff ● Creation and development of Supply Chain reporting system ● Implementation of new planning and warehouse functionalities in MS AX ERP system (paperwork reduction), and consequent validation of the system

MTA USA
Implementation of the SAP ERP intercompany system, with concurrent definition of the strategic planning parameters, in a fully integrated system with other MTA plants. The project made planning and replenishment processes more effective, reliable, and leaner. Furthermore, I took over the implementation of the KPIs for the Supply Chain area’s performances
